MQA Training Center

MQA Training Center is a private training center that offers hands-on training to individuals interested in learning or expanding their skills in Microbiology, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Classes or Validation. Our mission is to expand the pool of minority, veterans or dissadvantaged people available to work for life science companies in the Bay Area by providing specialized hands-on training in the areas mentioned before. Each year MQA will provide 4 training spaces at no cost to minority or dissadvantage residents of the Berkeley area (Berkeley, Emeryville, Richmond, or Oakland). We already awarded 2 spaces to lucky students.

For individuals already in the life science field our hands-on training will provide additional skills necessary to master all QC Microbiologist or Lab Technician functions. Our classes are very small (5-10 students) to ensure that everyone gets dedicated attention from the trainers. Our trainers are highly experience professionals with many years working in the medical devices, biotechnology or pharmaceutical companies.

Jobs in the Life Sciences industry pay well and provide secure jobs anywhere in the USA. The skills you will learn in our QC Microbiology Hands-On Training can be used in many different sectors such as food industry, hospitals, biotechnology/pharmaceutical/medical device QC, R&D and manufacturing companies, cosmetics, consumer products and academia research labs. Job Placement Assistance

MQA assist students with job placement. We can forward the student resume to local companies and leart the student of local companies openings at no cost to the student or companies. We also can review the student resume and provide advise on how to improve it. If our contract laboratory group needs personnel we will interview from our student pool. We cannot warranty that the student will find a job after completion of training. Many other factors outside of our control affect the possibility of getting a job. Interships may be available after completion of training.

Payment is accepted with corporate check or credit card.

Refund: Money is refunded minus a $100 registration fee if registration is cancelled 10 days prior to start of the class.
